On July 28th, 2011, KYMCO is hosting a new model launching ceremony in Malaysia with the local sole distributor, Nippon Motor Assemblers Sdn. Bhd., to announce the new models including the cub model, VISA R 110, and scooters, LIKE 150 and Super 8 150. KYMCO has targeted Malaysia as one of the most important markets in Southeast Asia, and this new model announcement is a beginning.To show great faith and ambition, the President of Southeast Asia Operation Center, Mr. Henry Chen, is attending this event and giving speech before the ceremony. KYMCO and Nippon Motor are honored by also having Y.A.B. Dato’ Abdul Ghani Bin Othman, the Chief Minister of Johor State Malaysia, to present at the ceremony. During the ceremony, to show the solid relationship between the two companies, there is also memento giving ceremony between KYMCO, Nippon Motor and the Guest of Honor. For announcing new models to Malaysian market, KYMCO and Nippon Motor host a press conference after luncheon, to introduce new models to all Malaysian through newspapers, magazines and TV. The whole ceremony ends before a new model test ride, guests are welcome to test the announced new models.
